Who we are

Home of Joy is a Christian social project that aims to welcome poor girls and girls who, for different reasons, are vulnerable to exploitation and different types of abuse.

Every day around the world, girls and women are subjected to exploitation and human trafficking, whether by strangers or even by their own families and communities. These girls are lured, tricked, sold and forced into prostitution, child labor or early marriage. They are robbed of their childhood and freedom, they miss the opportunity to receive an education and to create a life and support for themselves. As a result, these girls become highly vulnerable, suffer continual violence and exploitation, with no one to defend them.
